The UW-Platteville department of mathematics runs a problem-solving contest for students, in which any UW-Platteville student is eligible to participate.  Every Wednesday afternoon during the contest, a problem will be posted on the website: see "Problems" above. Solutions must be submitted to the Student Competitions committee ([email protected]) by 2:00 p.m. the following Wednesday. Each week the student with the best solution will be awarded a ten dollar ($10) Platteville Chamber of Commerce gift certificate. The students with the best cumulative scores will be awarded a monetary prize at the annual Department of Mathematics Banquet. For complete rules, see "Rules" above.
